I give this show 4 stars because it is a part of my childhood. I didn't give it 5 stars because of its downfall in late 2017. But I think this show would've deserved a 5 star rating back in the older days (series 1 - 6) and some of the newer series too (series 18 - 20). The current state of the show is VERY child friendly so the trains don't use words such as shut up, etc. If I had to recommend what series to watch or start watching, I would recommend series 1. I recommend skipping some of the downright AWFUL series (series 8 - 12) and series 13 - 16). And that is why I recommend the show Thomas The Tank Engine. But start with series 1!
