Hands down one of the best action movies to exist!! I mean let’s be real,,,the blood was not the best sfx work but overlook that and you’ll get the most action packed and aesthetically well coordinated film of all time. The action scenes are unlike no other and so so pleasing to watch. The story may be a bit more simple than other action movies, but the dialogues, the structure, and the action enhances it into a whole new experience. After all, simple is best. I’ve been rewatching this film for 5+ years now and it never gets old! Anyone comes to me for an action movie recommendation, I’ll always tell them without hesitation NINJA ASSASSIN PERIODT.

The first one was great but the second? They really went too far with the hero/compassion/humanity concept. Even if we overlook the terrible cgi, the plot structure was terrible and the story was so rushed and all over the place despite being over 2 hours. The action scenes weren’t fun to watch either. Oh and Cheetah was just a mess lmao. Overall it was overhyped and I’m pretty sure a good majority of comic geeks will feel the same.

If you like kdrama clichés, then this is the show for you. But if you don’t like it, this drama is going to be so bad and non-realistical. If you read the webtoon, you would be able to see how likable the male lead is and how much he actually cares for the female lead, but in the drama they kind of ignore everything portrayed in it and kind of swap the moral values and emotions of the main and second male leads. I guess the drama was after that “fate” cliché so despite how toxic and nonsense the male lead was acting (sometimes possessive/angry for no reason) he still somehow ended up with the female lead because she’s whipped for him lmao. Overall, it was similar to Extraordinary You but more cringy and less exciting. I guess the producer didn’t have much creative juices left after making Extraordinary You a hit, they even used the same set LOL. (PS: that break-up scene is the most unrealistic and childish thing I’ve ever seen it was so sudden and made no sense)

I was really looking forward to watching this drama after all the good things I’ve heard about it. But it was not for me. The plot was pretty two-dimensional and the characters make the show really boring. I kept watching the drama hoping for something remotely exciting to happen yet I haven’t been the least moved by the plot or characters and I’m on the TWELFTH episode...

MY ALL TIME FAVORITE KDRAMA!! The whole show was exactly like a beautiful painting. The dialogues were so witty and smart while the characters are so likable (and actually realistic for a kdrama). I don’t like when dramas force a love triangle, rich/poor, and other kdrama clichés and this drama did not feed into that trend! They had a refreshing and aesthetic take in terms of “clichés.” If you’re like me and like realistic yet beautiful, meaningful, and witty dramas then watch Run On!!! (PS: I ended up falling for the secondary couple I loveeee them so much)
