Terrible in staying true to the books. Deserved a series not an hour and a half movie. Plot of the first book was barely covered, so many plot holes and so many questions left for people who haven’t read the books. As someone who has read and loved the books just the one question stood out to me why make the movie if it’s going to be that, almost, rushed seeming. None of the feeling were kept, no emotional connections to characters and no explanations about almost anything. I watched it but definitely wouldn’t again. Going to go back and read the books.
