I love everything about this show! It locks into the reality of what our lives are to age. It does this in a thoughtful, warm, funny, and sometimes fearful and sad truth. It is full of rich characters and real life situations. Douglas and Arkin are amazing!! Their characters have a friendship that has spanned more than 50 years. They’ve seen each other through many ups and downs of life, that continue as they and their friendship ages. I completely relate to this show and all of the things these characters go through. I am 57, my mom is 76, and my dad is 77. I would love my children to watch this to not only understand what it’s like to age, but to see what it’s like to live!! Well done Chuck Loore , cast and crew. This story blows me away and leaves me wanting more. I’m almost done with season 2 and can’t wait for what’s next!
