Movie was boring. Graphics sucked. Literally almost walked out of the theater. I’m a horror junky. I love all horror especially classics and this was just a disappointment. They had so much potential and it just felt bland. More 30 minutes was spent in a flooded basement with a father and daughter having a one on one emotional reconnection (of course).
It was a pattern. They’d almost get out and then something would happen that would get in there way. And that’s fine in movies to a certain extent- but the whole film was full of it. Because of the pattern- the movie became predictable and boring.
Some parts/characters were built up to be important (kids robbing gas station) but ended up completely useless and quickly died off. Felt like a waste of my time.
Very unrealistic (although I’m pretty sure they made that obvious)
I could go on and on but those are the main problems I found.
