Rotten tomatoes is not credible even in the slightest with their review on this movie. This movie is very dark, and it's sick. Joaquin Phoenix nailed the mentally ill psycho personality of joker in every spot there is. This is not like the dark knight, or really any batman movie for that matter. This is its own thing, and it revolves around mental health. If your kid is as young as 12 or 13, I wouldn't recommend you show them this movie. It's not a kids movie. If you still haven't seen it, I highly recommend you do. It's truly the masterpiece of 2019.
