Despite a bit of awkwardness in its acting and writing, Life Like is a thought-provoking, engaging, sensual, and ultimately haunting examination of human nature. The occasional inelegance of the film is more than made up for by the beauty in its escalation and climax, supported by a simple, yet powerful score and many moments of rich aesthetic composition and design.
