Well crafted but as a viewer I was sometimes distracted into predicting the plot and also impatient with the pace.
I wanted the editing to be more deft. I believe it is made to an intelligent audience and it is exasperating to have the protagonist mouth the same dialogue in English and then Hindi.
That's kind of insulting .
I won't take anything away from the effort. It's definitely way above the average films made in Hindi.
Katrina struggles to stay convincing.
Vijay doesn't quite fit comfortably into the character. He doesn't seem convinced about his roots.
Inconsistencies in the narrative. Vijaya is super concious of leaving fingerprints in some scenes and totally indifferent to leaving his prints all over the place in a few others.
You can't tear down a duplicate apartment and not leave a trace. Burning the teddy bear in the bakery will leave it stinking for days if not months.
