I LOVE this book so much! The representation of brown girls and what we go through is amazing. I related to this book and so many of Karina's experiences are similar to what brown girls go through and I am so glad that there's a book portraying it.The mental health representation in the brown community was amazing in this book. I love that it spreads awareness about mental health and how many brown parents don't take it seriously. I cannot say enough good things about this book! The romance was amazing and the feminism, women empowerment were beyond this world. This book one of the best portrayals of what brown girls go through and how society reflects on us. I cannot recommend this book enough. I never write reviews for books but this one deserves it, I can't express how much I love this book and how everything about it is amazing! However there are some aspects of Muslim and Bangladeshi representation that were inaccurate and painted the religion to be a villain in this book. The storyline was amazing and representation could've used some work but over all I loved this book.
