Honestly, as an adult, Peppa Pig is so funny because she is so ridiculous!
I watched a few episodes with my son and I found it pretty funny, but I don’t let him watch anymore because of these reasons:
1. It teaches children it’s okay to make fun of others, and actually glorifies it.
2. Encourages children to act out if they don’t get their way, and instead of correcting bad behavior and teaching them to work through problems, it’s constantly a “positive” cover up.
3. Teaches children it’s okay to be a sore loser and end friendships if you lose, instead of accepting defeats and learning from them.
I really like the illustrations, and the voices are calm and pleasant. But characters are just awful role models, and teaches plenty of things that we, as parents, try so hard to guide our children away from.
I do wish they could have everything about this show without the bratty, rude, and bully culture it conveys.
