I like the ideal of the game, but a lot about how it plays is terrible.
If you die, even in storyteller mode, you loose your boat and everything on it (you can't re claim it), but you still keep all your sea shards and chapter progress, which sucks. All the islands are randomly generated so there's no guarantee you'll be able to build the things you need to progress, I've run into issues twice now where I needed a glider to get to a Tower, didn't have the recipe for it NOR the materials to make one and starved to death because there was no way to progress. Upgrading and making tools and weapons is also ridiculous you can't make a necessary tool until chapter 3 and the limited inventory space is soooooo stupid, you can only carry one bag at a time and have to miss out on needed items later on because of limited resources on the islands. I've had to start the game over from chapter three, 3 separate times now and I'm just done. I want to love this game because it's right up my alley in the types of games I like, but the ability to play it an enjoy it is not there.
