The only good thing about this show is the Cartel scenes and Gustavo/Mike. They should have made the movie about just them. Saul’s story is so god damn boring it makes you insane. It’s an entire 3 seasons of him trying to get a job, and then the 4th is him “getting into the street life” by wearing a tracksuit and selling burner phones on the street, until he gets robbed by a 16 year old. That actually may be the only thing that happens to him in the entire season. “Slippin Jimmy” is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard of. Kim is not only boring, but GENERIC. She has no personality, and the character is pretty much a placeholder. The epic scenes in season 4 of the milk dribbling on the plans and her having to talk her way into getting new ones might as well be a scene of a bank teller processing documents. It’s ridiculous. It just seems like the writers or directors for the Jimmy/Kim side are so much different than the ones for the Salamanca/Gustavo side. The only reason I say 2 stars is the Nacho Vargas (btw such a stupid name for a cartel boss, again, bad writing) story, the Salamancas, and Gustavo.
