One of the best c-drama ever! I got hooked from the first episode. There are funny and sad moments and i love the romance and chemistry of the lead male and female characters. I also love the story and the set is just beautiful. I became Deng Lun fans after watching this series.

Simply one of the best that I’ve watched! I don’t usually like to watch the Manchurian era because the men are half bald 🤣🤣 but I did not regret watching this one! Don’t be scared by the number of episodes this show has (70!!!). The story and acting of the players are so great that before you know it you’re already 30 episodes in! The heroine is not your typical female main character in C-drama. She is strong, independent, and loyal. I really like Wei Ying Luo character. The costumes and set is amazing! The level of detail that they put in producing the costume and set is amazing!! I love the colors that they paired in the costumes, it’s just so good! I became interested in this show because of the publicity it gets, how it’s the most googled show in 2018 and many others and I watched the first episode on a Singapore Airlines flight and i immediately watched the next episodes and the next and the next after I landed back home. It’s just so great!!!! One of the best ones i’ve seen. I definitely would recommend watching this series.
