Ngl, I first started with It ends with us and I instantly fell in love with Colleen's writing. That woman is so creative it freaks me out - in a good way.
When I heard on tikto, that November 9 was as devastating and fill with reflection then IT ends with us, I immediately ordered it. And I could have never made a wiser choice.
This book taught me that falling in love doesn't take all of you, you don't make that decision, you don't force yourself to - it just happens.
Colleen made me realize that we only meet our Ben once in life, and that no matter how hard we try, how tough it is - we can never forget it.
However, I do believe that sometimes our Ben doesn't turn out to be totally good, I met mine when I was 14 and I never forgot about him, he wasn't good to me and I wasn't good to him either. I'm dating someone else since 2019 (18 now) and I really am the happiest. It's just that sometimes some plot twist doesn't turn good.
Keep in mind that we all have a Ben, the one you'll never forget about and that you'll always love despite the fact that he hurried you as hell. But this kind of love can sometimes be so toxic that it ruins the persons involved in the relationship.
Thank you Colleen, you really are my favorite author from now on and I can't wait to read Ugly Love.
PS : fallon has my heart forever :)
