I'd rather them dance through all episodes than seeing dancers trying to act. I think the writer takes the bigger fault here. Bad story-telling skills and weird and abrupt emotions at bad timing for the actors. It's an interesting story but told by an immature script writer. Rush relationships and the characters' actions and choices do not make sense due to failure of building their back stories. Bette is the only one whom we see a better, timed, sofisticated development here. Naveah's personality switches in the middle of the show and turned into a unreasonable person who throws tantrum at will. Her supposed truama may be seemly real but why she blames her mom is not convincing enough. It's very forced.
I do think the actors have great potential, it's the script that wastes their talent. If it's still the same script writer for the next season, I will encourage people to not waste their time.
The only plus? Some ballet and hot bodies (which is a creepy thing to say i guess since they are supposed to be 16).
