This album is a massive disgrace to everything that made the original so magic and timeless. It's genuinely sad seeing the people that stand by Roger Waters no matter the many disgusting things he has done somehow trying to get this album to an acclaimed status. The music has long spoken word segments that do not fit thematically with the songs that they're apart of, all emotion of Claire Torry's vocals on "The Great Gig In The Sky" are removed completely and replaced by more nonsensical "poetry" in the song.
"Time" is lacking David Gilmour's touch and instead is more downbeat, slower, and edgier, as with "Money". If anything, this album is just Roger Waters having a make out session with his bloated ego yet again. Pink Floyd was a band, everybody mattered and contributed to the original album; it was NOT all Roger Waters, he just wrote the lyrics and is only solely credited to four tracks on the original album while all the other songs are majorly credited to the band as a whole.
But hey, if there's one thing this album excels at it's making it even easier to appreciate the original album. 3/10 from me.
