One word- cringe. Five star reviews are all fake, or by really stoned people with empty skulls. Cringe dialogue, cringe "comedy", cringe and poorly choreographed "action" scenes, cringe characters, cringe attempt to rip off 'The Suicide Squad', cringe attempt to be edgy, cringe attempt for Disney to make something for adults. I really struggled to finish this movie, and I cringed every time it tried to be either funny, or quirky, or cool and edgy, or 'The Suicide Squad'. Ugh, I know we all knew that Disney paid for those reviews, but, I thought it'd at least be an ok movie. And, I've never been one to bandwagon nor kid myself- I stopped watching Marvel movies after 'Civil War' because the plot was a mess and I predicted the company gradually going downhill. I was correct 💯. I hated almost every sequel movie, so I haven't seen the majority of them. I've watched this company collapse from the outside. I'm feeling really bad for those of you that tried to stick it out because, if this movie is better than Disney's in-between ones, then you have suffered greatly. Just, easy to shallow garbo for insecure teenaged girls. Psst, Disney, PG curse words don't make something suddenly mature. Kids use these words everyday.
And, what the fuddie happened to Florence Pugh?! She's, like, 40 pounds heavier than she used to be, but, it's all trapped around her waist and her neck, and none of it is on her breasts nor her hips. She also looks like she's a good 37 years old, and, not in a good way (because 37 is attractive on most people). She just looks rough and out of shape like she lives on Twinkies, or something. When you think about all of the actors who get into insane shape for roles, I wonder why she couldn't be bothered.
