This movie was slow, poorly written, some very poor acting, poor directing and a story line that was extremely difficult to follow. I have loved Clint Eastwood since I was a kid but he is old now and NOT a romeo. Yes, horse whisperer and animal whisperer is something that someone his age can pull off. But the "love life" in the film looked 40 years younger than him and there was no chemistry between them because Clint never really did have the on screen chemistry in any films. The young actor was cute but needs acting lessons and the script, well the script was left with way too many holes and unanswered or just plain stupid scenes. Why did his friends wife, who must have been six when he married her and she gave birth, come on to Clint? I mean, she is good looking and can get just about any man. So she comes on to Clint who is old and broke. It just lacked reality. Sorry Clint, I love ya but this film sucked big time.
