As a life long Star Wars Fan, JJ did what I thought would be impossible. He hit the Star Wars Fan's proverbial bullseye, and he had to in order to recover from the Last Jedi debacle. He successfully built that bridge we all had hoped for when The Force Awakens was launched. As a father and faithful original Star Wars fan, I wanted something that would connect my fondest childhood Star Wars memories into something new that both me and my kids could enjoy together as life long fans TOGETHER. The Last Jedi tried so hard to rid this awesome franchise of all the characters that made it so great to begin with. I thought after that movie "Wow, leave it to Disney to ruin one of cinemas greatest endeavors pursuing nothing but a quick boost to for their bottom line stock price." Thankfully someone in that corporate giant saw how badly they had screwed up and did the only thing that could save it. Hire JJ to build that bridge! And JJ did it, not perfect, but truly an emotionally satisfying bridge to cross and walk along with my kids once more!
