Some things about "Something in the Rain"
Its simple yet compelling plot shows:
1. It's a torture "not to like" someone you "already really liked".
2. When it comes to age and love, family and status, people are quick to judge.
3. There is this kind of love, so brave that you'll want to face confrontations, even if it's the scariest one.
4. If you can't avoid a problem, face it head on.
5. What is Love? Love is not what we actually think; it is an everyday act. It is in there: in words, acts, temper, presence, or even in the absence. It is wanting to make yourself strong and better so you won't worry the person who loves you how are you doing when he's not around. It is holding back when you're mad. It is on being apologetic or not being apologetic, and the list goes on.
This series, I think, isn't everyone's liking. If you're an outdoor type, you might find this boring. It has repetitive scenes and the entire 16 episodes that range up to 1hour and 30 minutes revolved only around two persons, head over heels, while being distressed by people around.
However, if you love classic romantic films, you'll sure to love it. Unlike other series, it is so raw, so realistic, so likely to happen in the real world. It doesn't need special plot twists, but it gives you chills and that sheer silent moments, when the characters have nothing left to say is actually somewhat frustrating yet, it gives this series distinct quality. The OST's, together with the settings set the mood. It has this relaxing atmosphere, similar to the feeling you have during lazy days and it's raining and you, just sitting while having a cup of coffee.
I honestly just wide grining for the first 6episodes. 😁❣️
