Very good start and great potential in some respect. Just marred by the excruciatingly slow pace of the whole eight episodes that I felt could’ve easily been condensed into just a couple. I believe it could’ve gone the long way further but was let down by the way the characters seem to change throughout the season. I found it difficult to watch and trudged my to the end of the last episode as I had already invested a lot of time in watching the series up to that point. After getting to the end of the last episode I found it as dull and grey as the striking scenic backdrops (what about Iceland’s real folk tales rather than *****spoilers ******) Sorry to say I won’t be watching another season put it that way.
