I don't know if anyone has noticed this (my fellow Indian viewers) but I strongly feel that the storyline of Elite has been inspired (or have been copied who knows) with that of MTV's Warrior High. Three scholarship students who get into an elite school, a guy who falls in love with a girl who is HIV positive, a girl falls in love with the school's golden boy who already had a jealous friends with benefits sorta relationship with the most popular girl in the school. I don't think this is a co-incidence. Good job, Netflix!
