I’ve been a fan of Sean Patrick Flanery’s work since 2002. I knew I would love this movie even before seeing it! I finally got to see Born A Champion. I absolutely loved it! It’s about five things that are important to Sean. Family, faith, fatherhood, love, and legacy. I love that he includes wisdom from his Grandaddy in the movie. He tells his young son “You never let the world see you beating your own chest.” It’s legit Jiu Jitsu ! Sean choreographed the fight scenes beautifully! Sean gave an Oscar winning performance along with the other actors. The move pulls your heart strings, inspires, and motivates you. I agree with Sean that “Everyone needs a little meritocracy in their life.” If you haven’t seen this movie, go see it. You won’t be disappointed!
