I think Joaquin's acting was brilliant...which i expected. But the movie was not what i expected. Very dark, very depressing. I thought it would have more batman references. I know it was about the Joker, but i thought it would have at least a little DC Comic feel. It was too depressing for me. It was more about real mental illness than a diabolical villain. I left feeling very down. But again, Joaquin was amazing.

Just watched the movie. Not sure exactly how I feel. I think Bradley and Gaga's performances were amazing. I think they had chemistry. But. Something was missing. Something was off. I'm not sure what it was. I wasnt connecting to the story. It was........choppy? I can't think of the right word. I cried, so, it definitely brought out emotion in me. But something was just not ..... perfect.
