The movie was honestly just a foundation to make a ton of reference from the game without really knowing what to do with them. Everything happens too quickly such that you don't really know why certain plot points were introduced but to reference something—even the fights. From keywords, information dumps, character introductions/name drops, in-game lines, and fights featuring their abilities, it just comes and goes with no real purpose. It doesn't help that they tried to introduce a new character, Cole, into the mix. CGI and visuals were decent though
