This movie is about a woman who wants to establish herself in the field of culinary as she is interested in cooking and has a god's gift of extraordinary taste buds. She belongs to an Iyengar Brahmin family associated with the Srirangam temple and her father is a cook in the temple who prepares the daily prasadam to god. Now when she wants to apply to the Hotel Management course on her path to becoming world world-famous Chef, the family finds the syllabus has meat cutting & tasting. Being a typical Brahmin conservative family this part of the syllabus is really against their rituals and hence the father stops her from taking up the course. *** Before moving ahead, this is true with every orthodox family irrespective of caste, race or religion, and no big offense by her Brahmin father of not agreeing to her course.*** However, she secretly applies to the course with the help of her friend "Frahan" and starts going to college. When she hesitates cutting meat, her friend "Frahan" quotes Lord Rama eating meat and also our Vedas not prohibiting anyone from meat consumption. Listening to this gyaan, she starts cutting and eating meat which her father notices and prepares to get her married. On the day of marriage, she elopes with her friend "Frahan" with the help of her grandmother to achieve her dream of becoming a world-famous Chef bypassing her family rituals. ***Now again, her friend "Frahan's" ideologies and religious beliefs are more correct than what she learned from her birth. *** In the climax of the movie, she is one of the top 2 finalists in the IBC (India's Best Cook) competition where the finalists will be asked to prepare Biriyani. Here she wears a burkha and prays for Namaz to get the world's tastiest Birayani. When asked why she did that, she said from whom she learned how to make Birayini followed this belief to get the tastiest biriyani and hence she did the same. *** Yet again, 1. Does it mean those who don't do Namaz don't make tasty biriyani? 2. Is it mandatory to learn non-veg cooking to become a great chef? 3. Are there no Veg-only chefs in this world who made big names? Guys google it you will get at least 30-40 veg or vegan-only famous chefs.. 4. Why couldn't she preach back to Farhan that she could also become a famous chef by cooking veg-only dishes? 5. What was the need for her to go out of her orthodox family beliefs to showcase her dream realization? This movie is totally a shame to one religion by upholding the other religion. Guys, movies are made for entertainment's sake. Why bring religions and beliefs into movie making and degrade one set of people and uphold other sets? Folks, wake up.. Lord Rama ate meat because he was Kshatriya and Kshatriyas need the rajasic guna of meat to be on par with the courage, valour and aggression. He didnt glorify eating meat like how the current generation is doing. Also Rama is Kshatriya not Brahmin. Why the movie is making Brahmins as villans? I started watching the movie because it was named Annapoorani - The goddess of Food, because a woman trying to stand up on her legs and go beyond limits to achieve her dreams. But the climax is worst ever seen. Its a cheating. ***Dont get cheated just like how i got cheated***

"Kho Gaye Hum Kahan" is a current generation movie. Very much relatable to the current generation folks. The movie portrays how much we are addicted to social media, how social media influences our life, how much we are dependent on social media, how we start comparing our lives with the pics/reels on social media etc.... Excellent storyline and the message the movie delivers at the end is pretty much relatable to everybody's life and is very good social message. The movie is more relatable to Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara or Dil Chahata Hai. The movie line has 3 young friends who are so confused souls yet very ambitions who goes through lots of emotional ups and downs due to social media impacts, relationship issues and all. All 3 actors, Ananya, Siddharth, Adarsh has acted brilliantly. I would really really recommend everyone to watch it.

One amazing movie in bollywood off late!! A true story based movie that portrays how an immigrant mother struggles to win a battle against foreign land to get hold of "Her OWN Children" from a disastrous foster system. And thanks, Kudos to Late Smt.Sushma Swaraj for her timely intervention in helping the real mom. The movie takes you on emotional roller-coaster showcasing the brilliant journey of a real Indian woman who fought relentlessly for almost 3 years, refusing to give up until she regained custody of her children. The movie portrays the power of Indian housewifes & Mothers. The movie depicts the struggle of Indian immigrants in foreign land in many aspects like upbringing kids, kids education, social respect, culture differences, dealing with jobs and citizenship and so on.. It clearly shows how the Indian culture like eating from hand, pampering and scolding the kids and many more such practices are considered as cheap or not-a-good way of upbringing children. The movie dives deep into the child welfare system in foreign land, exposing the dark realities faced by vulnerable children and their families. The film fearlessly showcases the heartbreaking injustices that occurred within the center, shedding light on the abuses and neglect suffered by innocent children. This movie is definitely one of the best-acted films of Rani Mukherjee. She has rellay gotten a power-packed performance depicting an anguished mother desperate to get her children back. We get so involved with the movie that when she gains the custody of her children back it feels like as if we won the case. The audience really gets carried away with the emotions, betrayals from so-called own folks, the twists in the tale and finally, a happy ending. If you are an immigrant, If you are a mother, If you are in foreign land.... or even otherwise a must watch movie for every Indian!!

A must watch movie for all age people. I specially and strongly recommend every girl and girl parents should watch this movie. Also those who debate on gender equality, women empowerment, rapes, women harassment, minor girl rapes, this movie is for you because this is the message the movie gives!! Every character is very neatly portrayed. Every actor/actress has performed very well. Excellently portrayed Father-Daughter relationship. Also the way mother takes revenge for her daughter's rape is very emotional. Pros: 1. Outstanding performance by #shivarajkumar #GanaviLaxman and #AditiSagar. #SwethaChangappa also has done good job. 2. #Umashree comedy sometimes seems highly PJ or not needed for the scene kind of. But overall a good comedy delivery by her. 3. Excellent BGM, direction and beautifully scriptured. Kudos to the director Harsha. 4. Acting, directing, writing, cinematography all competes agains each other in the same movie. 5. The best women centric movie ever made and probably #GanaviLaxman and #AditiSagar might get lot many awards. Cons: 1. The violence and the brutal way of killing the criminals is at times disturbing. 2. The way the movie portrays the punishment given to the rapists is totally denial according to law but I guess end of the day this brutality is needed to teach a lesson to such psychopaths. Overall I would say its a Heart wrenching revengeful movie which takes you through the emotional roller-coaster ride and the suspense till the climax makes you glued to the screen.

Ram Setu is a movie that talks about an atheist archeologist who works on proving that Ram Setu is actually natural one but ends up proving the historical existence of Lord Shree Rama and Ravana and that the Ram Setu is man-made. The story revolves around the ASI archaeologist who is a firm believer of scientific facts hired by a powerful shipping company to prove that Ram Setu is natural and that the government gives permission to demolish a part of it so that the import/export business expenditure decreases and company can make profit. And then later how he goes on continuing his research in finding the truth behind the Ram Setu, enters Srilanka, gets help from AP (later he seems to be lord Hanuman) and presents the facts to Supreme Court for the justice against the demolition of the bridge. However to me the concept alone seems a good story line and nothing else in the movie is logical sense. The director/producer/story writer or Bollywood just is trying to win people sentiments by the word “Ram Setu” and trying to showcase some things like Trikuta mountain, Ravana palace, Ashok Vatika (ashoka vana where Sita was kept), sanjeevini plants and so on… But there are so many dumb things in the movie like, 1. Hero needs a submarine suite to dive and extract samples from bridge but the divers follow him with just an oxygen cylinder.. 2. The scene where hero fails to collect a sample of rock but then brings up the floating rock and walks on the Ram Setu seems so artificial and one of the worst graphics. 3. While he was unable to collect sample under water how can they grind the same rock in lab? 4. The visual graphics in the entire movie is so artificial and worst part of the movie - the bridge scene under water, the boating scene while looking for the underground cave and so on… 5. An atheist all of a sudden becomes and ardent devotee like 360 degree turn seems bit illogical. The director could have added some strong logic for this. 6. The research done in Lanka also seems like illogical and hanging in the air with no logical conclusion. 7. In the last scene I am still in confusion how did they reach Delhi court from Lanka with no help or whatsoever. 8. And this Nushrat who was all in blood and hurt in Lanka all of a sudden enters court nicely decked up surprising us that she did a makeup while on the chopper in air!! While the context or plot of the movie is excellent, the movie crew could have given more attention to its execution part like the choreography or graphics, logical sense, in-depth research, logical conclusion and many more things. While I am proud of having a movie on our historical culture but found this movie a totally dumb make from Bollywood.

Watched the movi "Mili" on #Netflix. A plain, simple, descent, inspirational, survival story. All the actors have met their expectations and specially #jhanvikapoor has done her best. No fights, no high dramatic scenes. A plain story. 2-3 songs are there but none of them are something like it will stay in mind kind of. Ok ok types of background music/score. The movie seems bit lengthy with unnecessary songs and some unnecessary scenes. But well depicted emotions specially the father-daughter bonding. The cops behaviour is badly depicted. Not sure if we still see such folks in the system. If yes thats the most unfortunate thing. Only thing is the script lacks authenticity. Someone who can survive in -18 degree Celcius for 5 hours with just some frostbites but no hypothermia is something that cant be believed. One time watch. All I can say is the movie which shows the survival theory seems to be a survival/lifesaver for bollywood.

Personally, I really loved this movie, a very innovative, unique story line. The movie is very engaging and has a very gripping story line. Its not an easy thing to show the mythological background theme as a hard bound fact. But the director has made a conscious effort and has succeeded on it. In the current generation, movies do play an important role in making the youth understand the values of our culture and tradition. The youth are adapting to the things that are shown in movies and hence such movies are in dire need for the current generation which make us understand our roots and culture and value our traditions. The plot of the story starts with a mythological background and connecting the dots to the present day is a wonderful job done by the team. The movie ensures sufficient amount of scientific facts, mythology, spirituality, thriller, comedy, suspense everything in same proportions. The movie clearly illustrates the connection between God and Humanity. There is a clear demarcation between the faith and science which usually is a very complicated thing, and the movie brilliantly showcases it. The story went beyond limits to explain the connection between myths and science. Such adventure movies are very rare and it’s hard to screenplay and lot if movies might have missed some elements, but this one has got good emotion, adventure, historical, drama theme mostly connected and covered to become a family entertainer. Cinematography is excellent with the movie shot in amazing locations. The background music and the songs are also good and apt to the movie. The role played by Nikhil Siddhartha as a doctor who then embarks on a journey of mythology to uncover a mythological mystery is excellent. Anupama Parmeshwaran is just a cute doll for her role. Anupam Kher got an important and powerful role. He made a strong impact and his dialogues on Lord Krishna's prominence, spirituality, traditions, and culture draw applause. Overall an excellent movie for the current generation for the dilemma between the science and mythology.

The movie sends out an fact and amazing message to current generation “PARENTS” A completely family entertainer with the plot of family’s (parents, kids including the elder generation) to mobile, games, FB, WhatsApp, Instagram, Selfies, TV Serials and the consequences of it and how they overcome it. Very good movie and useful concept. The movie is light and hilarious yet gives a strong message to society. Every parent is facing the same situation today. Movie has shown how parents can keep their kids away from gadgets by engaging them in traditional games. Movie also shows how parents should be a role-play for the kids to have a lesser or no screen time. Neatly pictured about the mobile addiction amongst all. Almost everyone can relate themselves to the characters in the movie. Unknowingly this menace has engulfed the quality family time we used to have pre mobile era. Must watch for all, across all age groups Highly creative movie with good comedy. This type of movies should come in future to bring awareness among children and parents. The entire current generation folks need to watch this movie. There is lot more to learn from this movie. The movie shows what beautiful things we were missing - Sunrises/Sunsets, a beautiful walk with spouse, a small happy talk with family, a quick humour on the dining table and so on so many.. Very good acting by Srujan Lokesh and Meghana Raj. And kudos to all the kids in the movie.

Watched the movie "Hey Sinamika" on Netflix. A wonderful script and narration by the director Brindha (I dont know if this person is new or experienced. But really a wonderful storyplay). Every dialogue, every frame is nicely scripted. Ofcourse kudos to all 3 actors Dulquer Salman, Aditi Rao Hydari & Kajal Agarwal (OMG😱 Kajal looks very old already!!) of the movie for their excellent acting skills. The movie is a nice "Rom-Com", filled completely with emotion, romance and drama. The love affair between Dulqer and Aditi begins well with the start of the movie and they get married within 5-10mis of the movie. But down the line she feels suffocated with overly showed affection, love, pampering, no freedom to talk or eat and nonstop blabbering of house-husband(SAHH 😛) . She plans to take a break from husband with the reason of work, however husband out of his love goes to her city of work! When the husband become unbearable, the wife and consults a psychologist to seduce her husband and with that reason she can apply for divorce. When the husband gets to know about the wife plot against him as well as the psychologist friend's love for him, he decides to part ways from both of them. The wife begs for forgiveness and the couple accepting each other forms the climax of the movie. Pros: Giving the message of Love, meaning of relationships, the space and freedom in the relationship. The dialogues, screenplay, frames, storyline and actors Cons: Some scenes/dialogues are over rated. The ladies in the movie seems to be objectified, trivialised, dehumanised where as the male domination continues. Feels like why is the husband not made aware of his talkativeness disorder or over pampering the wife? Why does he feel his disorders are actual love? why cant he give space to his wife? Again Male EGO??
