This is a Russian made game, as such expect over powered Soviet tanks, not anywhere close to reality. Developers say this is a realistic tank simulator, in reality it's a arcade style game play. If you want realism play War Thunder. Tons of tanks to play, but if you don't pay the monthly subscription fee it's very difficult to make credits to buy and upgrade tanks after tier 5 tanks. In the end you will be force to pay for progression if you want to take this game more seriously. New players to this game or if you have children who wish to play this game it is strongly suggested to turn off the in game chat feature. Most game the chat is very toxic and people on chat are often not friendly to new players.

Played this game for almost 2 years solid from early access. First time players will enjoy the game for about 6 months solid before you start to realize the flaws and bugs that never get fixed for a game that is 100% online. I enjoyed the game so much i bought and stalled a 2gb SSD for my PS4 pro to load in faster. If the question is should you buy this game now and will you enjoy it answer is yes. bundle deal for base game and New York expansion is cheap right now and you will enjoy at least 6 months of play time. So great value in terms of time played to dollars spent ratio. Long term, you probably will not last because of constant exploits, cheat, wall glitches (both people going into walls and killing you and people who can shoot through walls), hacks and glitches rampant in both pvp and pve side. I stopped playing because it became boring and frustrating after year and a half of playing. During the first year, there was nothing in terms of content just patches, updates to gear and the expected game balancing in form of nerfs and buffs to weapons and gear. During the second year of the game,The dev team scrapped the entire weapon and gear balance they spent during the first year and made a new MMORPG style of gear where you would has classes like World of Warcraft with Tank, DPS or Heal/Support but with guns. (thousands of hours i spent during first year getting GOD roll weapons and gear was all deleted to make way for this change) I was one of the odd player who was ok with it in hopes that this will balance the game. however, during this second year phase, numerous exploits, glitches and even hacks started to appear. This new version had so many exploits it killed the community. Devs would patch the exploit, even tried to temporary ban 100's of thousands of players as a warning, but it did not slow it down, during the first 4 months of the New York Expansion.

A lot of content and character build options, this game has a ton of micro transaction including monthly loot boxes. It has a free to play game model with a $60 to purchase price at the PlayStation store. MMO it self is solid, with a ton of grind elements in form of crafting, gathering, auctioning. You can easily spend years just getting lost in this world. I gave this 3 stars because even though the game has a lot going for it, you can't ignore literally thousands for dollars in micro transaction and obvious pay wall placed into the game. There are even gambling aspects built into the game, combined with monitized dlc zones, dungeons and home crafting and cosmetic pay items. They even have cash only purchasable consumables like food, XP boost scrolls.
