It's exactly what I wanted as a Godzilla fan. A big kaiju rumble to rip open the monsterverse. Now we can get into the meat and potatoes of this genre. Was the human story not very good? It definitely could have been better but I'm not watching this movie for human drama between divorced parents. The movie is called Godzilla, and every time the big guy is in the movie, you can't help but grin like a child all over again.
