Honestly, I loved it. The movie was overall really good. I know it wasn't about the LGBTQ+ community, but the watcher can interpret the movie however they want. And the way I interpreted this movie, WOW, I feel like if given the label, Luca, could be one of the best LGBTQ+ movies I've seen. Especially with all the little hidden messages (that I picked up on), and all the similarities of the coming of age story of a young gay boy and Luca. But that was my take on it. So, yeah. It was a great movie, I definitely recommend watching it.

I don't know, I think I enjoyed listening and watching some of the stories being told and being represented. But there was one story of a man who is transgender and holds a modern ex-LGBTQ+ group. Which I thought kind of took some of the power away in the other ex-leader and the story of the people who were victims of conversion therapy and Exodus. Especially when the trans leader, came out, was grateful to come out and be his true self. But then he was chatting with a woman about her child coming out as trans, he constantly called them a boy and disrespecting them. Which was totally irrelevant, and unnecessary to include. I PERSONALLY would have felt as if this movie/documentary would have been better without the story of the modern ex-LGBTQ+ group and their leader. That's my opinion.

I felt like there were some good parts in the movie. (Spoiler Alert) When the woman who was dating Josh's dad, Priscilla, was actually the killer and the reason she did it, because when her dad died at that park, no one helped him. But, I think it took too long to get to all that. Like, I think the movie had a good idea, a messed it up. Like it was only until an hour into the movie. The killing started. And the people who were killing in the beginning had no connection to the movie. It would have been better, if it was seen more through Priscilla's eyes. And not Josh's.

(Spoilers ahead if you haven't watched it) Loved this movie so much. I loved the twist and turns, and the graphic scenes. The kills were top tier. I loved the guy in the cars' death, where the main character Crystal kicked him out of the car. It was funny, but also an amazing kill. And the last fight scene, amazing, chef kiss 100%. I wish there were more movies like this. Like The Hunger Games but on crack.

Personally it was amazing. It was creepy, unsettling at times, and left you thirsting for more. I do think that it wasn't a horror movie, I do believe it was a thriller movie, bc even with the jump scares. I don't think it was that scary. Unsettling yes, 100% but was there ever a moment where I felt as if I was in danger, no. But that doesn't mean it wasn't a great movie. It on my favorite movie list now. And I just think (SPOILERS AHEAD!!!) that the grabbers death, where finnley fought back with the help of the past victims, was the most satisfying scene I have seen in a long time to the point where I just want to watch the whole movie again. (I do wish that Robin had more screen time bc he was my favorite victim, it was hella sad when he died).
