Fantastically beautiful movie.

I watched this movie twice to make sure of my assessment of The Assignment. The story is truly unique, weird, and twisted, but brilliant. The acting is good. Sigourney Weave was a smart character. Michelle Rodriguez is superb. Magnificent performance. If it wasn’t such a controversial movie, regarding the subject matter,, she should have been nominated for an a best actress award.

I love great romantic comedies. Emily in Paris surpasses that genre. It is brilliant. Exquisite. Delicious. Great screenwriting. The cinematography is spectacular. Imagine taking a vacation to Paris. And the actors. Lily Collins is amazing. She reminds me of Audrey Hepburn, one of my favorite actors. Enjoy!

I liked the ambiguity. The mind games. Who was directing this story? Who was writing the script? And what about the subterfuge employed to capture an emotional performance from an actor for the purpose of creating an authentic scene for a movie at the expense of destroying a marital relationship. The dialog felt real. If not surreal. Kudos to Aubrey Plaza. What a treasure. Sorry for the compliment. Ha.
