The cricket moments in the film is good. Huge effort by the team. Unfortunately unnecessary addition of minority appeasement is a big turn off. Its very clear that those scenes are with an agenda. Its so ridiculous when in one of the scenes, the Indian army receives a call from Pakistan's army with an information that there would be no firing as India is playing world cup, and there is an attempt to create sympathy on this which is disgusting. There is a scene where in midst of a communal violence, a Muslim family watch the world cup finals and dance with happiness after the win, this is clearly a deliberate attempt to show one community in high regards than the other. Without these elements the film is good. High time that these Bollywood directors stop making movies with personal agenda.

Great movie!! A fresh breeze amidst all the latest "doesn't make any sense" movies. First half is very entertaining. Brilliant acting by the cast. Dialogues tickle you every minute. A must watch movie. ಒಂದು ಒಳ್ಳೆ ಕನ್ನಡ ಚಿತ್ರ👌
