I loved it! The storylines grasp your attention, and not to sound awful, but a good looking cast never hurts. Although there are obvious historical accuracies, the main chunks are portrayed pretty well. I think it's imperative for people to remember that it's entertainment, not a documentary. I did some googling to see just how bad it was (historically-speaking), but it seems like the cast did a fantastic job of portraying the historical figures, right down to Mary's beauty and John Knox's hatred of women. Funny, one of the big issues many had were the choice of historically inaccurate costumes for the time period, but personally, I enjoyed it. My complaint is that I wish there were more seasons. I feel like the series finale was especially rushed, and I didn't even see it coming! But overall, a definite favorite.
