He stated that children born overseas to United States citizens were not citizens at birth. That is patently false. As soon as he said that I would have used the example of Ted Cruz, John McCain, and George Romney among others who were candidates for president yet not born in the United States. Is he saying they were not natural born citizens at Birth? My son was born in Japan when I was assignment with a company in Tokyo. It was clear as we registered his birth at the United States embassy that he was a United States citizen at birth and they registered his birth as such. Similarly with the question on green card holders and others who may use various Welfare Services provided by States or the federal government. Rather than argue over the saying on the Statue of Liberty I would point to the fact that 81 to 87% of food stamp recipients who are not disabled or children work jobs. Because they are in the lower paying jobs such as AIDS and nursing homes and the like they need our assistance to care for elderly and our children. I suggest you and your staff do more homework before you put people like mr. Cuccinelli on your show
