I'm sorry but...I remember when special effects weren't that special and seeing a Godzilla that is visually, approaching something akin to photo-realistic is just absolutely mind boggling. I was surprised how good and entertaining this film was. I love it when movies spend $200 million to make something preposterous like King Kong fighting Godzilla with a giant battle axe look amazing. This was as good, or better, than the last two American Godzilla movies..
