As a fan of the games, I was hurt coz of non canon approach around chief & his ways. But as a fan of sci-fi stories I was impressed, really. The showrunners did a great job by using the universe & mix-blend the story that could really comfort viewers. I loved how chief was more than just a mjolnir special soldier (gaming side fan was saddened to see him without armour let alone helmet), gave his relationship with his team & the team's character good depth. Made him feel human, he made errors in fights. Slightly disappointed that there were very lesser fights, even for a sci-fi styled inter galactic fight series.

Too long but keeps you entertained. You can easily ignore some logical aspects, cause it's a fictious story afterall. Plus I keen-fully watched the movie for only one aspect, ie action. So it kinda delivered more. (Yes I'm a godzilla fan too)

Ending felt kinda crushed, not rushed but not okayish

Animation, actions & actors for the purpose were great along with the first half of the movie but then it just seemingly started to drop. Because you know the sudden shift of plot from fighting ai to mommy ai. I mean sure I understand that the other half wanted to be more of a mother-daughter focused but even that part felt weak, didn't really feel like much effort was put into it or like their little mingle did much of an impact in the overall. Felt rushed or like forced into it plot for the sake of it. Considerably Netflix's own "I AM MOTHER" robo mom delivered much greater impact on the whole vibe to its own movie, yes I understand the whole movie was about it but see "the whole movie was about them" not some war & capitalism & some toy head. Surely it portrays the capitalistic life in the realistic approach towards the whole change. But I definitely doubt that people or buyers themselves would ever be such accepting to buy an android robo based off an idealistic soldier.

Nah, just not upto any standards compared to the original. Bad work tbh.
