Stilted acting at its best, with an understandable but overly simple plot. An odd interpretation of public universities where everybody is one-dimensional, university students act like high schoolers with peer pressure and gossip issues, and professors/coaches don't bother to actually help their students. Lightly touches on abortion but doesn't focus on underage drinking or the negative consequences of having kids be ridiculously sheltered and not teaching proper sex ed. The male protagonist was semi-believable considering how sheltered he grew up so the awkwardness was understandable and sometimes endearing when it wasn't making you cringe. Not a completely terrible movie but there are definitely better faith-based films out there.
