If you are going to watch this movie, just turn around and wait for an online version or something. I get the women empowerment part, but like how women empowerment came to be especially at this turn of the century, it came in a little too late? Only towards the end do we really see what we came for, women kicking men’s ass. And even that was shot maniacally with no intention of showing the women were kicking the possessed men’s ass. The lead was a disappointing mess who took too long to realise the “power” that was inside her all along and even when that moment came, it was like a whimper instead of a shout. This movie had potential but was spoiled by lack of creativity and direction. Redeeming quality of the movie? I honestly think the song sang by Riley and co was good. That’s it. If you’re looking for a movie where the female lead(s) kick ass, this is not it.
