Ok, George needed a band to share the songwriting load yet, in EXTRA TEXTURE's several timeless moments, George displays his virtuosity in moving lyrics, inspiring melodies and outstanding muscianship (including a debut of sorts for the legendary David Foster). George had his moments and on EXTRA TEXTURE, they are among his very best. As one of the tracks says, "Don't be so hard on the ones that you love!"
