Once every few years I find a game as good as this. Thus ensues a period of several weeks where all I want to do is play it. I begrudgingly go to work, maybe see friends a few times, but other than that I play pretty much all the time. Once I’ve done absolutely everything there is to do, I resume normal life feeling very lost. That might sound terrible to some, but I love it. If you can relate and have the time, get this incredible game.

Too much cornily acted cliche character development not enough awesome space stuff

No idea why there’s any negativity in the reviews of this game, CA have completely nailed it this time. Units are far more interesting than 3k, the campaign is even more engaging than 3k with the new resources system and god system. Heroes do still duel it’s just less ‘official’. People big up Warhammer but I never finished a campaign on that game it just became a boring grind. Graphics are beautiful and run in ultra on my system which struggled to run 3k in high. Battle difficulty seems good, hard is comfortable for me as an experienced played, legendary is a challenge. I played the campaign in hard and found it fairly easy. The Bronze Age setting is awesome, would 100% recommend to anyone.
