I loved this book. Have been a tree hugger all my life and this story reinforced all my fondest memories of camping in Yellowstone, redwoods at sunset, touching a bend in an elm on my way down a path travelled daily. It was a joy to read and affirmation that humankind is a transient being in this world,
bound to disappear in its greed.
