Must watch. May be an amalgamation of many series or movies from Tamil /English but I felt awe for he touched issues of Maharashtra farmers suicide , Gorakhpur oxygen cylinder case and Bhopal gas tragedy. Some scenes even reminded of Kerala's Endosulphan tragedy . Opening scene had North East India touched . As it was near onam release, Malayali audience got a happy onam too. Great cast and everyone did a decent job. Must watch in theatres for people who want to have feel good entertainer with a message. Haters gonna hate dnt bother.

Raavan was a person well versed , a musician and yes an Asura. That doesn't mean u can portray something so pathetically.Lanka was a beautiful city and what did u show . A dark town filled with ogres. And wats with so many BATS !!! Ramayana is ramayana dnt mess it with up some garbage . And what dialogues. Horrible dialogues. And seriously so much drag too. And Mr.Prabhas this is not Bahubali. And costume designer this is not a sci-fi modern movie. Can watch the cartoon by Yugo Saki to get out of the hangover.

Felt good seeing the characters on screen. Great effort by costume team especially jewellery . Great effort by all the actors. BUT that's all. I didn't like the movie but for these , Having read the book I feel someone who has not read the book wouldn't even grasp the movie properly. BGM many places were not in tune with the story example piano for some scenes in an ancient Tamil story even if it was for the mood . Sets didn't feel like old chola palace or temples felt more like some North Indian set like Rajasthan or Delhi and even resembled Bahubali many places which was huge turn off. I felt the movie drag in the first half , lot scattered in the 2nd half and some songs unecesarily long. Many of the intersting scenes from the book didn't feel so interesting on the screen. Commendable job for having taken this magnanimous task of making this movie but I feel script could have been better as the book is so gripping & intriguing. All the actors have done a great job especially Karthi ,Jayam Ravi &Trisha. Definitely watch it at the theatre's for the experience 😊

Even when the story was kinda new to me still I watched as I am an ardent devotee of Krishna and it was a beautiful serial...may be the only serial I have ever watched ...But! For one month what nonsense they r showing...Radha was elder to him ...and now they are showing they both gonna tie the knot , and together with family searching for marriage dates ! That's just too much man ....Radha was around 5-6 years elder to him !!! Just to hike the ratings kuch bhi kar dalthe ...!
