The worst movie I’ve ever seen in my life. I repeat the worst movie ever.

A very gripping and ominous movie. Every actor put up a respectable performance. Direction was top notch, beautiful cinematography as well. The story revolves around the pitfalls of religious extremism I think lol

Jallikattu is an interesting movie and it’s quite different to the other movies that is released in Malayalam. It does not leave you spellbound but you will be left appreciating the direction and cinematography. It will do well in theatres because it is very different than the conventional Malayalam movie where the beloved hero (against all odds) conquers the villain and in turn, our hearts! That being said, the analogy used was very obvious and simple. I personally feel that the director could have used a story which depicts life in a sophisticated city and then shown the similarity in the behaviour to the non evolved humanity, which is the basic undertone of the movie. The fact that the similarity was shown through life in a rural village did not sweeten the analogy.
