Love this movie. Timothy Hutton is so very tragic and fragile in this role. He makes me want to just hug Conrad and never let go. Mary Tyler Moore is superb as the cold, emotionally bankrupt mother who cant seem to feel an ounce of anything towards Conrad. Donald Sutherland plays a father/husband caught between his family's issues. Overall, this trio is believable and allows you to invest in their story. Absolutely wonderful movie.
