So many high level important ideas that my brain is still in recovery mode! 0 out of 5 stars for basically being a republican propaganda pamplet to help Koch-funded grifter Dave Rubin gain some credentials as a writer. The amount of pseudoscience and propaganda in this book really makes me worry about the folk giving this a good review - you'd have to be incredibly dumb or incredibly paid. Described as "cognitively limited" by friends, Dave uses his talk show platform mostly to entertain the ideas of literal fascists and white supremacists, whilst not challenging them and allow them to be humanised by a host who is a self-described "enlightened centrist". I haven't seen a single progressive on that show. According to Dave the biggest threat to humanity is lefties who have "gone bananas" because they don't like nazis and blah blah blah something about trans people. So he puts the spotlight onto the non-issues which is meant to distract from real existential threats that his billionaire funders don't want you to know or care about, such as Trump's presidency and climate change. I did enjoy reading the typical right-wing talking points that have long been memes - "the free market will solve everything" and stuff like "Hitler was clearly a left winger because he called his party the national SOCIALIST party". High level stuff. Check the fridge temperature to see the IQ needed to think this book is chock-full of good ideas!
