I loved the movie! simple as that. people are focusing on the negative parts that Kabir Singh has but he did understand what was going on. He was free-spirited and tbh Indian society will never understand or like that concept.
He was not a hoodlum who was harassing women. we also see that in our culture we teach women how to cook, clean, and all other traditional values but do we teach them how to live in a society as an intelligent independent women NO! the movie would have ended if she had said something when Kabir kissed her so we don't know how she was feeling when Kabir was hanging around her! and why would we? It's a movie about a man and how he feels in situations, how he handles himself through a breakup and how he goes through daily life with his ongoing carrier.
the movie has very fine moments when you will realize oh this happened to me as well but I had no knowledge or support.
i really love the support from Kabir's friends, and family especially dadi. it shows how the world is changing and things are not simple. parents also need to change the way they see the world.
in general, it's a good movie I would watch it at least once.
