One of the main reasons a politically driven plot such as this works is partly due to it not being solely driven by politics(but that's still a very big and important part of the movie). The movie is very much about characters integrity and steadfastness, and on the other hand it's about characters of corruption and deceit. However it isn't black and white(well actually that may be a subplot). I think the movie tries to tell you to have integrity, of your ideals, and of your rights within a society. The talent in this movie is phenomenal and I thought it was a great movie^_^
