well, where do i start?
-------- Minor Spoilers Ahead---------
this show has a very creative plot and has been thoroughly thought of.
if you ever watch this show you'll love the sibling banter and the mixed emotions that revolve around scenes.
according to me, season 1 was more of an intro to the show.... you'll learn about what challenges the umbrella academy has faced in the past and how the characters lived with their share of stories. there will also be a little sense of suspense and surprise throughout the season.
however, many scenes are easily predictable such as Leonard being the bad guy eventually or vanya finding out her powers. this season has less of their present and more of their past except the last 2 episodes. The commission was a good touch to the show and Kate Walsh was a perfect pick for the handler's role.
- Overall season 1 is a 4/5 for me-
season 2 revolves around the characters being separated from each other (again) and living the 1960s life. you wont see any character development in the main cast
(and i didnt expect one cuz only two seasons came out). even though the main goal of fighting the commission and protecting the world from another doomsday hasn't changed, the season finale was brought out really well.
you wont be getting to watch Diego's or alison's abilities much since the whole plot revolves around five and vanya.
- Overall season 2 is a 5/5 for me-
this show was amazing to watch and I cant wait for season 3. I recommend that whoever reading this can take time to watch this show too!
