Janice Hassell

I’ve been reading, lately, all his books starting with the first. All have been well written, engaging and kept my attention. This book was so different to me that I’d even looked up to see if there was a co-writer. His dialogue between characters seemed immature and there were many holes with in which I felt his research/knowledge base of the law wouldnt have allowed him to make…for example…when searching the room of Kate and then being allowed to go into her storage area with a key they took from her room,w/o a warrant or nothing said about the possibility that Kates roommate would tell her that they’d been there and searched her things and were looking for her. And King being duped by a “fake fire dept/rescue” situation. The heroes in his other works weren’t so gullible. This whole book felt more amateurish in its writing than his others. I’ve read over 30 of his books but this is the first in which I’ve felt this way.
