If you are watching it expecting the same Bob Biswas of Kahaani , you have to keep your expectations little low , but Abhishek doesn't disappoints as he gave his best efforts to get into Bob's character though as it is a spin off story you'll find him little softer version of Bob Biswas. I personally felt had Abhishek worked more on his Bengali Dialects ( or Director Being a Bengali could've noticed the same ) he would've looked more convincing as an Assasin roaming around busy streets Kolkata. Though in one particular scene ( meeting his Son's Schoolmate ) he flawlessly enacted the perfect menacing yet innocent Bob's mannerism of Kahaani . This movie is a good directorial debut for Sujoy Ghosh's daughter and shows her potential as her father's great legacy in thriller genre of Indian Cinema. There are some factual error in first scene of the script for it being a spin off story of already released movie that's Kahaani. Rest it is a good watch and all the lead actors did their best to the characters assigned to them. Story could've been more gripping which I expected it being Sujoy Ghosh's Production, but undoubtedly it is a good thriller movie and you'll not be disappointed at all. Typical Bollywood mass entertainment...all the ingredients you can expect from a Rohit Shetty movie, this movie has it all , Car(avan)s , Dolby background scores, Punchline comical moments , His devotion to Police Department, Marathi language and Mumbai ( not to forget Goa ) , Jongoistic Action sequences by actors & his Stunt team...overall a good watch & must watch on theaters, not on your Mobile devices or Laptops , not even your Framed Television sets...Small spoiler there is a Cliffhanger cue for His next...go , watch the movie & find it yourself.
