I'm a Chinese from Hong Kong. I just watched the movie "Easternmost Island" last week and just watched the documentary "The Sinking of the Lisbon Maru." It left me in tears.
At first, I saw "Easternmost Island" simply as a true story.
But after watching director Fang Li's documentary "The Sinking of the Lisbon Maru," I felt even more deeply the horror of war and heart broken.
Thank you, Director Fang Li, for your dedication and hard work in sharing this truthful, forgotten piece of history that's often overlooked by the public.

剛開始看電影東極島, 只把它看成一部真人真事的電影去看。
但看完導演「方勵」 的紀錄片：里斯本丸沉沒 更加感受到戰爭的恐怖及心碎。
